Former heavyweight boxing champion and cannabis entrepreneur Mike Tyson has unveiled a new line of cannabis seeds for home growers, collaborating with the renowned seed bank Royal Queen Seeds. The first offering, featuring seeds for six distinct strains, is now available online under the co-branded names Tyson 2.0 and Royal Queen Seeds.
Tyson 2.0: A Premium Cannabis Brand
Tyson 2.0, co-founded by legendary boxer and cannabis advocate Mike Tyson, is a brand dedicated to revolutionizing the cannabis industry. According to a company statement, the company aims to create innovative, premium products celebrated for their purity, precision, and wide accessibility.
Royal Queen Seeds (RQS), based in Barcelona, has been a trusted producer of cannabis seeds since 2007. It has earned accolades at prestigious cannabis competitions worldwide. With physical locations in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bangkok, and New York, RQS supplies cannabis seeds globally to over 250 independent stores.

New Cannabis Strains Now Available
The inaugural release of Tyson 2.0 cannabis seeds from Royal Queen Seeds includes six strains: Gelato 44, Dynamite Diesel, NYC Sour D (autoflower), GOAT’lato Auto, Punch Pie, and Corkscrew (autoflower). According to the companies, this collection combines nostalgic and new genetics, offered as feminized and autoflowering seeds, designed to provide a consistently exceptional home-growing experience.
Feminized seeds, which produce almost exclusively female plants, are prized for their resin-rich, THC-potent flowers. Autoflowering seeds, on the other hand, produce plants that flower without needing specific light cycles, making them easier to grow.
These six exclusive Tyson 2.0 strains are available in the U.S. (except Kansas and Kentucky) and internationally, offered in packs of one, three, five, or ten seeds. As part of this partnership, an additional 12 strains are expected to be released over the next three years.

Shai Ramsahai, president of Royal Queen Seeds, noted that the Tyson 2.0 seeds sold in the U.S. are grown by New Breed Seed, an affiliated cannabis breeder based in Oregon. In addition to the U.S., Tyson 2.0 cannabis seeds are also available in Europe, with launches planned in Thailand and South America in the coming weeks.
Tyson on the Collaboration: A ‘No-Brainer’
In an exclusive interview, Tyson expressed his enthusiasm for partnering with Royal Queen Seeds, recognizing the company as one of the best cannabis seed banks in the world.
It’s a no-brainer to collaborate with them. If you’re the best in the world at what you do, most likely, we’re going to be partners. Mike Tyson
Tyson has previously partnered with professional cultivators across the U.S. to produce cannabis flower, beverages, concentrates, and edibles, including the popular Mike’s Bites, a gummy shaped like an ear with a bite removed. Of the six strains in the RQS collaboration, Tyson cites NYC Sour D and Gelato 44 as his favorites.
Adam Wilks, CEO of Carma HoldCo, the parent company of Tyson 2.0, shared that the collaboration with Royal Queen Seeds was a strategic move in the company’s plan to become the world’s leading cannabis brand.
We couldn’t have asked for a better partner than RQS for this cannabis seed venture. Just meeting the team and seeing their true passion and love for the plant, Mike and I felt they were the perfect fit. Adam Wilks

Expanding Access to Home-Grown Cannabis
Tyson 2.0 currently operates in 17 countries and across U.S. states where cannabis is legal. Nearly 20 U.S. states have legalized the home cultivation of cannabis for recreational or medical use, including New York, where regulations for home marijuana gardens are currently being drafted. As more states legalize home cultivation, Wilks believes that companies offering quality cannabis seeds will gain strong support from consumers.
Great cannabis flower starts with great genetics,” Wilks stated in a joint company release. “Home growing has been a longstanding tradition in this community, and our collaboration makes it easy for consumers to access the same high-quality cannabis that Tyson himself expects. Adam Wilks
